PEXT3M Product Recall

Our Jackson 3-metre Extension Lead - PEXT3M is being recalled. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Please follow the below steps to determine if your product is affected by the recall. 

 

1. The white 3-metre lead is the only Jackson product included in the recall. Please check the length of your white extension lead is 3-metre. No other lengths are affected by the recall and are safe to continue using. 

 

2. If you have a 3-metre Jackson extension lead, there should be a safety warning tag around your product. The batch number is included on this label. The ONLY batch affected by the recall is PO11872.

IF YOU HAVE VERIFIED THE CORD LENGTH IS 3-METRE AND PO11872 IS THE NUMBER ON THE WARNING TAG, PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR PLACE OF PURCHASE FOR A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT.

 

3. If the safety warning tag has been removed, please check if the markings on your product match the below images? The 3 markings to verify are:

  • Plug Approval SAA162901EA​
  • Socket Approval SAA181842EA, ​
  • Supply Cord Approval SAA170791EA

If the extension lead does NOT include these markings, it is NOT affected by the recall.

IF THE CORD LENGTH IS 3-METRE, ALL THE MARKINGS MATCH AS PICTURED ABOVE AND THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED WITHIN THE FOLLOWING DATE RANGE, PLEASE RETURN THE PRODUCT WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE DATE, TO YOUR PLACE OF PURCHASE FOR A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT.


DATE RANGE AND LOCATION:

Jackson 3-metre extension leads were sold in stores between 6th of July 2022 and 9th of September 2022 from the following retailers. Any Jackson leads sold prior to this date or from any other retailer are NOT affected by the recall.
