Our goods are warranted against faults and manufacture when used in normal domestic use for a period of 1 year, unless otherwise stated on the packaging or this website.

We undertake to repair or replace your product at no charge if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.

This warranty does not cover products that are abused, altered or repaired, nor does it extend to batteries/LED’s or other components that are expected to deteriorate naturally over time. Due to the natural deterioration of all surge protection products, we recommend that you regularly replace surge protectors and power boards at least every 2 to 3 years, which is endorsed by regulators in Australia.

As far as is permitted by law, this warranty does not cover any consequential damage arising from the use of our products.

The benefits given to you by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under law in relation to the goods or services to which this warranty relates.

Subject to any applicable law which may not be excluded, Jackson will only honour a warranty claim if:

(a) it receives documentary proof of the date of purchase of the product and written details of any defects in the product within 30 days of the defect being identified;

(b) if required by Jackson, the defective product is returned to or collected by Jackson;

(c) any information requested by Jackson in relation to the product is promptly provided to Jackson for Jackson to assess the validity of the warranty claim; and

(d) Jackson, acting reasonably, considers the claim to be valid.

Jackson will bear the reasonable cost of sending a repaired or replacement item to you. However, Jackson will not take responsibility for any costs incurred in the process of claiming including, but not limited to, the cost of placing a telephone call or cost of postage.

In Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In New Zealand this warranty is additional to the conditions and guarantees of the Consumers Guarantee Act (1993).
